  • I took this photo in Messinia, Greece in summer 2016. It's of Voidokilia Beach and it's surroundings. Voidokilia Beach is on the Peloponnese peninsula and it was the most picturesque beach that I visited during that Greek trip, which was almost exclusively in Messinia. On that mountain is Nestor's Cave and above this are the ruins of a 13th-century Frankish castle (Old Navarino or Palaiokastro). Look closely and you will see :). I didn't get to walk up there. It was brutally hot that day and I spent most of the time at the beach. But, I did make time for some hiking. Near where I took this photo there was a lot of medieval or ancient ruins. Near those beautiful rocks. I had to be careful when walking on them, but it was worth it!

Abbastanza confortevole

Struttura moderna, purtroppo senza persiana alla finestra; wifi poco funzionante. Appartamento con molti accessori e balcone. Incredibile che la camera non venga pulita che ogni 3 giorni con quello che si paga. Idem per il cambio asciugamani. Ampio spazio per parcheggiare. Colazione buona anche se migliorabile. Ottima la posizione vicino alla spiaggia e al centro. Proprietario gentilissimo e disponibile.

La struttura è molto bella e moderna. Personale molto attento e gentile. Gli appartamenti sono dotati di ogni confort, dalla macchina del caffè al bollitore, asse da stiro. La colazione è abbondante e piena di prodotti tipici e marmellate homemade. Bella piscina.

Lovely Modern Villas with Friendly Staff

Villa was amazing - very clean tidy and modern. We were there out of season so the pool wasn’t open but this didn’t affect us. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The area was quiet but again I think this was down to being out of season. We would defiantly return here again.

Très jolies prestations et l'hôtel est bien placé.

C'était presque parfait, nous aurions bien aimé avoir une terrasse privative comme sur d'autres logements. L'accueil était vraiment très sympathique, l'équipe a à coeur de vous faire plaisir. Parfait pour visiter Méthoni ou farnienter. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Excellent base for the Methoni/Pylos area

We wanted to visit archaeological sites in the area and found the villas an excellent place to stay. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment with 2 bathrooms and a spacious kitchen and sitting area. There is a good selection of tavernas about 15 minutes slow stroll away - taking account of the stops to look at the view of the bay and castle. Breakfast is generous and good. The owner and his wife are charming and helpful. It worked really well for us.

Μόλις μπήκαμε στο δωμάτιο η πόρτα του μπάνιου ξηλώθηκε κ παραλίγο να πέσει στο κεφάλι του μικρού μας.Επικοινωνήσαμε με την ρεσεψιόν κ μετά από 5 λεπτά ήρθαν 2 κυρίες κ βγάλαμε την πόρτα εκτός δωματίου.Στην ερώτησή μας ''τι θα γίνει τώρα'' δεν γνώριζαν να μας απαντήσουν, λέγοντάς μας ότι δεν υπάρχουν άλλα διαθέσιμα δωμάτια.Έπειτα από μισή ώρα που καλέσαμε ξανά την ρεσεψιόν,μιλήσαμε με τον ιδιοκτήτη, ο οποίος μας είπε ότι δεν ευθύνεται αυτός για την πόρτα κ πως αν δεν μας αρέσει όπως είναι να μας επιστρέψει τα χρήματα κ να φύγουμε.Εννοείται καμία συγνώμη μέχρι στιγμής κ μόνο ότι δεν φταίμε εμείς δεν μας είπε.Επισκεφθήκαμε την ρεσεψιόν κ μετά από έντονη αντιπαράθεση με τον κύριο κ την οικογένειά του διαπιστώσαμε ότι υπήρχε διαθέσιμο δωμάτιο άλλα δεν ήθελαν να μας εξυπηρετήσουν γιατί πληρώσαμε λίγα που κλείσαμε μέσω hotels κ ότι τους παίρνει μεγάλο ποσοστό το ίντερνετ λες κ είναι δικό μας πρόβλημα αυτό,που πήγαμε να χαλαρώσουμε 4 μέρες.Ο ιδιοκτήτης μας είπε ότι θα μας αλλάξει δωμάτιο για 2 βράδια(κλείσαμε 3 νύχτες) αφού περίμενε πελάτη από Αμερική άλλα το επόμενο πρωινό μας ζήτησε να μεταφέρουμε πάλι τα πράγματά μας αλλιώς θα μας τα μετέφερε αυτός.Το συγνώμη για την ταλαιπωρία εκεί στην Μεθώνη δεν το γνωρίζουν παρά να σε κοιτάνε με ''μισό μάτι''....(ευτυχώς όχι όλο το προσωπικό).Ντροπή τέτοιες συμπεριφορές από ανθρώπους που θέλουν να λέγονται επαγγελματίες.Υ.γ.Ο πελάτης από Αμερική ακόμα έρχεται...

Όμορφο συγκρότημα κατοικιών με άνετα δωμάτια, εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό, αρκετά μεγάλη πισίνα, δυστυχώς όμως σε μια περιοχή όπως η Μεθώνη η οποία υστερεί συγκριτικά με την κατά πολύ πιο οργανωμένη Φοινικούντα.

Nice villa close to everything in Methoni, Greece

The staff is amazing. The owner gave us free breakfast one morning and coffee was only 1 euro per cup. The villa is perfect and very roomy. The pool is perfect. Best hotel in Methoni. We will return!

החוויות שלנו תקפות ל-0ff season, אפריל 2017 וממוקדות לשירותים לנכים. שהינו באחת משתי יחידות מותאמות לנכים שהייתה נוחה, נעימה ומונגשת היטב. כפר הנופש היה כמעט ריק, שקט מאוד, נקי. צוות מצומצם, אנשים נחמדים, נעימים וקשובים.
