"Tamarix was perfect. Big villas, great staff, bar, wonderful buffet breakfast, large pool, some villas have hot tubs. The property is surrounded by restaurants but is in a side street so is not on the busy and loud tourist street. A 2 minute walk to the beach. We loved it so much we were planning to go back before we had even checked out!!!"

"This was a fantastic place to stay for our Santorini trip. The location couldn't have been better and being able to hear the ocean at night from our room was a nice bonus. The Boathouse is located in between the two main restaurant “districts” so it is close to everything yet still isolated enough to be peaceful. Within 5 minutes, you can walk to shopping or pubs. Rooms were cleaned regularly and perfectly furnished with good air conditioning. bus service available however didn’t run regularly therefore ubers are the best way to get around the island. "Beautiful, modern hotel in Oia! We liked the location as it was a short walk into town, but away from the crowds in Oia when cruise ships came in. Stunning views from the property and the pool is awesome. Rooms are a bit small but I would guess quite a bit bigger than the cave hotels in town, and the property overall is spacious. Overall service was great. Cleaning was good but not great for 5 stars. Some odd things like the outdoor areas could have been cleaner, room ran out of shower gel / soap etc. nothing terrible but for the attention to detail overall I was surprised. Breakfast was amazing. "
