The location is good - very close to Formosa Boulevard Station & Liouhe Night Market. The hotel is newly renovated. The room is clean & big - It can accommodate a small square dinning table for 4 pax & with my (standard size for checked) luggage opened on the floor. The staff are nice & helpful. The breakfast is acceptable & ‘fit for purpose’ but the dinning hall is big so no need to queue up for food/tables in the morning. The key drawback is the surrounding, a bit shady & dark with cars & motorcycles running around. However, taking into account the overall price, it is the give & take. (Basically, this hotel is managed by Ever Luck Hotel next to it & they shared the same reception.)

A Little Gem

This hotel may be dated but it is extremely clean. The staff worked very hard to ensure everything is literally spotless and this impressed me a lot. If the hotel refurbishes and with the current service, it would be easily the best hotel in Kaoshiung. Oh, the location is great too.

The location of this hotel is amazing！The nearest station is Formosa Boulevard(美麗島駅) and the center of Kauhsiung.Just coming out of the hotel it's 六合観光夜市 and many local restaurants too. Beside all hotel staffs are kind and helpful. We are comfortable to stay at this hotel and highly reccomend to others who visit Kauhsiung.

The hotel is overall clean and convenient. It is about a couple of minutes walk to a night market. There were two suggestions that I have for the hotel - 1. provide a soap for hand cleaning at the bathroom sink so that customers don't need to keep going into the shower stall for soap; 2. the closet is too small that I have to fold my bath towel in half and hang it that way. In addition, I also wish that breakfast food wasn't cold.

The weirdest thing about the hotel is you have to check-in in another hotel, which is a few doors down. Breakfast was actually quite good, with a lot of choices & good bean-to-cup coffee. The street where the hotel is is very quiet and lifeless, especially at night. I don't feel unsafe but I do feel uncomfortable if I have to walk back to the hotel alone at night. Though, it is quite close to the metro station and a stone's throw away from Liuhe night market. Also, the hotel & its furnishing is very dated.

The room itself is very clean and tidy, a good 3-stars hotel. just the lobby and corridor have aged, and if someone talks in the corridor with a slightly louder voice, you will definitely hear that in the room.

Low ceiling lobby. Vip room assigned has no outside window. Switch me to another inferior room. Merged with hotel next door so has to find my way to the hotel and navigate through maze to my room. Unable to resolve wifi malfunction in room and did not offer any means to resolve and compensate. Bathroom has no handwash towel and soap. Terrible breakfast food.
