"We absolutely loved our stay at the Royal Sonesta. The staff was so warm and kind and our room was so quiet with a beautiful view! We booked the ocean view room and it was lovely!!! We will definitely consider staying here when we come back to Kauai. "

"An excellent stay overall. Large rooms. The pool was the highlight of the stay. Excellent for kids in particular. Kitchen had the essentials, a large fridge, oven, microwave etc. There’s no direct beach access but it’s possible to go to the beach after a short walk outside. There are some shops nearby for essentials (pharmacy, restaurants etc). For anything else, a car is needed. The onsite restaurant is decent. Limited options and flavors are muted. But good ambience and service. One downside was that there were a lot of roosters at the property which would be rather disturbing in the morning. "

"Our favorite place to stay. The room had some fun stuff for kids as well (boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel stuff, i realize these rooms are all different but would be great if they just took a pic of the "extras" closet so we knew we didnt need to pack our snorkel stuff."
