โThe place is clean and the continental breakfast has great options. We really enjoyed our stay because the place looks fresh and clean. Just need to have a better pillows. โ
โThe hotel grounds, pool, and room all seemed clean and well maintained. All the staff are very helpful and nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is starting to show it age a bit but is still very comfortable and clean. The location is safe and I had no worries about my car and belongings. It's about 15 mins to the beaches to the south and about 20 mins to Newport.โ
โWe had 2 rooms, 1 needed ADA access. It did have the ramp, but no seating chair for the shower and it was located near the b k of the kitchen and the view from the window was the storage areas with beer kegs and what not laying around. The hotel location and the other room with a balcony were great. Need to improve on the ADA room though โ

โStayed here for our anniversary and found the room clean & updated. Plenty of parking, good location and a great brew restaurant next door. You get a 10% discount to the restaurant. We enjoyed breakfast, the coffee was nice & strong & the service fast & friendly.
The king bed was very comfy, the bathroom with shower was small but very clean, the shower walls are so cool and the light/fan in the bathroom gives you an option to have a black light (purple), on our next visit I would book the king...
โThis Mom and Pop hotel is perfect if youโre on your own. I was greeted by the nicest hotel neighbors and we shared a bonfire later. I felt right at home. โ

โWe had a nice stay at General Stanton. Itโs a very cool old Inn with lots of character and was very clean. We checked in after hours so did not interact with any staff except over the phone but the remote check in process was still easy and we had no issues. Was a convenient and affordable stay for a concert in Matunuck.โ
โI just love this motel! It is as clean as a whistle and right across the street from the necest beach. A short drive to restaurants and shopping. I'll be back again and again. โ
โCould use freshening up - hallways, lobby. Pool wasnโt appealing . Room was good. Bathtub jets didnโt work . Location of hotel very good. Staff were nice. Wish we had chairs on our balcony to sit- there were none. Bathroom amenities good. โ

This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic...
