“Situated at the end of Seward , it was very nice, clean , easy and free parking . Beautiful bedrooms . You can have breakfast ( buffet) at the closed by edgewater hotel . ”

“Great place to stay if you are looking for a stop between Seward and anchorage. Clean room. Beautiful lake view. Only thing you need to pay attention is there is not many restaurants options nearby. ”

Friendly accommodating staff, tidy efficient room with good decent mattress, really good pillows and linens, and excellent shower pressure! The AC unit cooled fine but was a little noisy. And we loved being able to park right outside our door, just like “motel” implies. I’ll enthusiastically recommend this hotel to friends who often stay in fancier places.”

“Honestly for the price there’s better options than the aspen. The best western offers nicer rooms and a decent free breakfast. This place just doesn’t have anything to offer and the staff are average at best. Comparing the experience of staying at both hotels it became clear that the best western was the better value and the staff seemed to be happier with their job than the ones at the aspen.”
