“It was a fantastic experience in the hotel. We fully enjoyed time in the hotel including a tasty hot breakfast. For your information, it takes 2 hours to Acadia national park.”
“Hotel was clean and modern, with everything you need for an overnight stay. The personal highlight of our overnight stay was the bed - the king room bed was so comfy, I even asked for the mattress details upon check out! The Lavazza coffee/coffee maker made the best cup of in room coffee I have had. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating (from the front desk to the restaurant). Free parking across the street from the hotel, and we were able to store our bikes in a storage room behind...
“I hate leaving bad reviews.
But between the blood on the shower curtain, what appeared to be bloody mucus on the wall, and the front desks indifference when I told them... I would want other travelers to know.
I didn't notice the wall until later in the evening and it was late enough that I just went to bed. If I didn't notice it then maybe I can give the housekeeping staff some grace for not noticing it.
But the blood on the shower curtain was very obvious as soon as I opened the curtain....
“This is a great property. New owners are very nice and super accommodating, great breakfast and excellent service. Looking forward to coming back again.”
“Close to the I95 and the reason for my journey. I was in a separate building, however felt safe. The room was only accessible by about 4 steps up, tricky with a suitcase. There was no peephole in the door ... I did not like that. The staff was extremely friendly and a modest breakfast provided.”
“Small, well maintained property. Affordable but limited amenities, no breakfast on site but available in the area, clean motel type rooms. Would recommend running the fan overnight, building sits along a significant highway and truckers were using engine breaks to slow which could be controlled with a background of fan noise. Overall a good value and a good spot between southern and central Maine.”
