"I considered the reviews before I made my booking, and to be honest the place is great. My family enjoyed the room, the view, the pool and the food at the cheekie hut was great!!! I had seen a few reviews about the airport being so close and it's true but I very much enjoyed the close view of the planes and my kids loved it!! They dont flight all night so that was a plus. It is very close to everything including smathers beach like two minutes away. Overall I would definitely recommend it and stay here again."

"Offered ocean view at check in ! The 2 reception ladies offered us upgrade then when a person already checked In. Came back and wanted upgrades after seeing their room they declined us. The next morning went to complain and night manager gave us a free upgrade to ocean front ! She made my 70th birthday. They need to train those 2 ladies !!"

"The only beach on island is across the road and I love that about this location. Very small beach and not much to it, coming from Tampa we have better beaches. The location of hotel is 20-30 minutes away from the bars and restaurants. Good thing is they have a free shuttle running daily with helps a lot. If you drive parking is about $10 an hour anywhere in town. Down side of hotel is that it’s starting to show signs of wear and tear. Water pressure was low, but the room was clean and overall had a good weekend getaway."
