The room was comfortable it had a small refrigerator and microwave. However, one of the bed sheets were stained and the bathroom smelled like urine.

Just returned home from staying at the High Five for a few days. Our room was clean, staff were friendly and the place is conveniently located. Our only complaints were the shower stall is small (good luck trying to shave in the shower), no blow dryer and no light bulb in the table between both beds (we had to ask for one, which staff quickly brought us). I also did not understand the bed making logic, instead of the top sheet being on top of us it was a blanket then the top sheet, which seemed in reverse to me. I also had to question the cleanliness of the blanket, it was right on top of me was it right on top of the previous guest and was it laundered in between guests like the sheets were? Would I stay here again, yes, would I recommend this place to others, yes.

The bed had a top sheet and a comforter. I thought the room had not been completely done, but I didn’t notice it until it was late. So, I slept in my clothes. This morning I went to take a shower and there was one towel about the size of a hand towel. There was no hairdryer, not that I needed it, but once you notice a few things missing you start to notice. The guy at the front desk was very nice when checking in.

Great value for the price!

We were very impressed with High Five. I knew the hotel was there. Right off Veterans and WS Young. But I had no idea how quiet it would be so close to a busy intersection. There was a small refundable deposit of $30 for a non-smoking room. They actually went and checked the room wasn't smoked in before returning my deposit. I'm OK with that but surprised they did so. We had a king room. The bed was huge. I believe it was larger than a king. Solid wood sleigh. Gorgeous bed. And the mattress was soft! The tv was decent size, 40", and had an abundance of things to watch including HBO. We did not use the shower but our room was handicap accessible with a folding seat in the shower. The room was very spacious. The fridge kept our foods/drinks cold. We didn't use the microwave. We decided we would always book High Five when staying in Killeen. Absolutely loved the place.
