The building is just in front of the Messe and served very well by the Tram (Line 4) which easily drives you to the city center. "The hotel was in a great location and the staff very friendly. The room was huge, even for our family of 5. We found the beds very comfortable and overall enjoyed the hotel. The only downside was that the floors weren’t clean - our socks/feet got very dirty walking around the room, and also there was lots of dust under the beds. If they gave the floors a good steam mopping and vacuumed under the beds, I would’ve given them 5 stars. Despite this, would stay here again if we ever come back to Graz."

"Nice hotel with an excellent location. Really good breakfast. The bed was a little bit too hard. The rooftop sauna was nice, but the terrace was really tiny. The gym lacked some heavier weights and both treadmills got locked for no apparent reason. Very nice staff in the reception. Nice little cafe in the same building. Easy transportation to the airport with tram and train."

"Incredible stay at City Hotel. Everything about the hotel was high quality. I was lucky enough to stay in a large corner room that overlooked both the city and the river. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff arranged for an iron to be brought to my room ahead of my arrival. The Nespresso coffee machine was a bonus, as was access to a 24/7 gym. The breakfast options were plentiful and high quality and sitting on the terrace was lovely. Only minor room for improvement, my suggestions would be some bath salts/liquid for the bath and a more modern hairdryer as the one supplied was old and slow . Overall would definitely stay again."

"It’s a great hotel in an excellent location for walking around Graz, with plenty to see and tons of restaurants nearby. There is a public transportation hub very close, and a dedicated taxi stand across from the lobby doors. The rooms are very nice, and the hotel has a very upscale and modern feel, which isn’t generally my style, but there’s nothing to complain about as far as aesthetics and appeal of the property’s design. Nice, adequate breakfast provided, but lacking an actual dining area (you kind of have to eat in the lobby)—still nothing that I’d find to complain about. The staff are very warm and friendly. I enjoyed my stay very much. Photos include a view from my room."
