“One female receptionist on duty spoiled our initial experience to the point of no return. We called ahead for early check in availability and were told that it would cost $50 per hour. We said we'd drive up and see what time we got there. We were there at ~ 1:45 pm. I asked what time we could check in and without even checking the availability she told me abruptly " Check in is at 3:00pm.!" I checked online, there were 7 identical rooms to mine vacant. “The hotel was the cheapest in the area. It was very clean and comfortable. I loved the retro Ho Jo vibe in the room. Check in was easy and it was nice having a restaurant on the property!”

“Our room and the common spaces were clean and cozy. Breakfast was lovely and our non-dairy needs were able to be accommodated. We didn’t interact much with any staff but each process was such a breeze that we really didn’t need to. The hotel is in such a great, central location and is an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and scenic spots.”

“The grounds and rooms and decor are very upscale Catskill and nice. I really enjoyed the many amenities available all day, including: games; coffee and tea; s'more kits; the fire pit that was well tended (and there was also an outdoor fireplace), the gas fireplace in the room and the small touches even in terms of encouraging a relaxing shower and the noise-cancelling machine in room - just very thoughtful touches everywhere.”

“Room was clean, updated and very comfortable. The Hudson views were outstanding! The charm of the architecture was awesome with the copper metal patches on the wood plank floors. We missed peak season by a week or two, but the leaves that were still there were stunning from our balcony. We are looking forward to coming back next year during peak! (The views are worth coming in any season, honestly)”

“Great space to comfortable fit a family of 4.”

The accommodations appear significantly more worn and less clean than represented online. In addition, I did not receive the check-in instructions with the access code, and when I rang the bell for assistance, the hostess was rude and dismissive. Because there are no...
