“The guesthouse is nice enough but the staff were standoffish to begin with. There was an unexpected extra charge for my dog to stay. They had their large dogs roaming freely, which was intimidating to nervous dogs on leads. The shower in our room was old and complicated to use. I forgot an expensive orthopaedic pillow at the guesthouse and requested it to be sent to me. The owner assured me he had it, charged me €35 and sent an old battered cushion with no cover at a cost of €9. Overall the stay...

“Parking was easy, room clean, gym and dining/bar options on site. Nice campus. Bed was too hard for my spouse. Pool and sauna were lovely. Gym was small but did the job. Didn't try the spa. Spent two nights there. Visited Mount Usher Gardens and Glendalough area from here. Don't miss the gardens... Amazing if you are a tree nerd... ”

“There was no receptionist. Someone from the bar came out. The buffet, you walk in, someone's said sit anywhere by the window, that was it..... I didn't know if we could order food or if it was just a buffet and the buffet was not easy to see. There were two employees working that just kept walking by me before I figured it out. Not friendly at all. The only reason I stayed here was the location, would not stay here again. Room was very small and if you have luggage hard to get into the room....
