"We asked for and were told we had late checkout at 2:00. They couldn’t accommodate 4:00, but for a fee could do 2:00. I okayed the fee. We got back from our massage in our last day and were locked out. We wasted 30 minutes of our paid for extra time to go down to the front desk to get it straightened out. The when we were back in the room a housekeeper walked in on me- naked , just out of the shower. Not the best way to end our trip. "

The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona."

"We had a great, relaxing time while we were there. 3 pools along with 3 free BBQ grills to use. Next to the ocean and a golf course. We didn't need air conditioning since the trade winds either from over the mountains or the ocean keep the condo cool day and night. "We had the best time staying at Kona Tiki Hotel! We loved hearing the waves crash in at night and the slow-down island vibe of the hotel. Staff was super friendly, room was clean and had everything we needed, took advantage of the beach equipment and book shelf and enjoyed our time on the balcony overlooking the ocean. "This is an extraordinary place, beautifully nestled at the top of a narrow tree-lined road, designed to blend into the landscape. It's high, and the view of the sea is grand. "Dragonfly Ranch is surrounded by green and the song of frogs and birds. I stayed in a room with a delightful view of trees then ocean. Dragonfly is only about a 6 minute drive from a great beach for snorkeling and swimming - Two Step, right next to the Pu'uhonua o Honoaunau (Place of Refuge), which is well worth a visit. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. I look forward to visiting again in the future."
