โIf you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city).
The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. The hotels offers visitors free bike hire for 4 hours and is relatively close to the bus route for exploring other parts of the area.
As this is not a city you are limited in the immediate area for places...
โreally good facility, close to the water front which i love and in between several areas of interest that you can walk to. The showers and baths were an added bonus as we didnt know that it would include the hot bath, really good to come back to that after a long day. Staff was super friendly and there was a music venue right next door, although we had other things we wanted to do so we weren't able to go. The only issue we had was the pillows are a lot stiffer than what we're used to so it was...
โThis property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. My group was 6 family members and we stayed at 8 different places all over Japan for a two week adventure and all 6 agreed this property ranked #1 of all. Can't wait to return and...
โWe had a fabulous stay at Hotel Kitanoya. Everything was to perfection. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor baths. You can sit under a canopy of trees and enjoy nature! Our spacious room had a picture-perfect view of the bay. The food was stupendous. Fresh, varied, and yummy. The staff are very professional and pleasant. They did everything to make our stay wonderful. The location is just a 6-minute walk to the station, and the hotel also provides a shuttle. I didn't want to leave!โ
