“We loved our stay at Nysis. The rooms were well appointed, quiet and spotlessly clean. The gardens and pool area were lovely - perfect for a bit of sunbathing, reading or just sitting with a cold glass of wine. The location is convenient for both the beaches and restaurants and the port, from which the boat taxi can take you to the beaches further around the island. “The rooms were clean, but very dated. Breakfast was good and had variety. You cannot drink the tap water and you only got a bottle of water when you first arrived. You had to buy more water from the bar at an inflated cost or from a market in town. No market service on site. Bar costs were quite high. One of the restaurant staff was quite rude and we found one of the cleaning staff sitting on our bed playing on his phone for a while as we waited for him to clean the room.”

“This is at the far end of Plakka Beach. You will need a car to explore better restaurants. The bus is about 1km from the hotel. The property is clean and comfortable. Right on the beach. If you are looking to be a little way from the action this is the place. If you want to be nearby shops and restaurants I would suggest Aguia ans Anna beaches ”

“The room didnt look like on the photos at all. It gave us a spartanic impression. Very sober and cold. The bathroom was a disaster. You took a shower and it was literally flooded. The pool was milky green of color and could not be used. We sent emails twice, but they could not resolve the issue. We asked for a compensation since we booked the hotel because it has a pool. But the request was ignored until now. Breakfast was very good and staff was friendly in general.”
