Traditional Japanese
Traditional Japanese house on two floors with tatami and futons, sliding screens and a lovely little internal garden. Narrow and steep stairs. Not for anyone with mobility restrictions. Excellent bidet toilets and good shower and bath. It's in a residential neighbourhood and centrally located 10 minutes walk from Kyoto station. Both my children suffer from allergies and suffered attacks. The tatami was suspected but the Kyoto air is also equally suspect.
