"The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, however, there are plenty of e-bikes and taxis around. The room was spacious and clean. The blinds are blackout however there is some light that enters through the side and bottom of the blinds, which can be an issue for sensitive sleepers. We were there for a wedding and there was a limited amount of steam irons available which I found annoying as they constantly wanted the irons back. Breakfast was good with a decent variety of options."

"Not only is the hotel located in a historic area but it is historic in itself! it is a very unique property with lots of charm. Our room was beautiful, spacious and clean. You have to take this underground path from the main area which in itself was a nice little adventure! We loved our stay here and are looking forward to being back!"

"Hotel is billed as 5 star but it definitely isn't. It's a decent 4 star at best. Pros: quite a plush setting, good sized room, nice views, the rooftop bar was brilliant and the staff there really nice. Although not exactly "central", the hotel was in easy walking distance of all major sights. Maximum walk was c.30 mins to Plaza de Espana. Cons: our "double" bed was two single beds pushed together but with separate quilts, bedding etc so hardly a romantic getaway. They were also very uncomfortable and creaky. There were no USB ports anywhere so I had to go and buy a connector plug. Good choice at breakfast but honestly not worth €25 pppd. Grumpy and unfriendly staff in breakfast room. On the whole, decent value for money, but certainly not a luxury hotel."

"Easy check in with a touch screen reception if no access to your phone. Everything up to standard as described online. The charging ports were up to date with no need for an adaptor which was useful. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms equipped with shower gel and towels. Did not see any staff around though did not have a need for them. 100% recommend"
