โIt was a lovely property. Helpfully located for the vineyards via taxi. The area was under good security survelliance. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern and has a lot of art on show. Rooms were spacious and clean and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend โ

โWe loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!โ
โAmazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink.
Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. โLovely property. Central location very walkable for the town. Parking on property. Good water, pressure in the showers and very comfortable beds. A small bottle of champagne to enjoy! โPlumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us.
