Big but old property… needs renovation.

Big but a bit dated property. Only 2 lifts working, had to wait a long time for lifts and they make terrible noise. Air conditioning also very noisy

I felt very safe on site. The dining options are plentiful. I especially enjoyed their restaurant, Toast! The pool area was beautiful and the staff were friendly. It was my first trip to Nigeria and I would stay here again on my next.

The hotel was hosting multiple events during the week & was constantly crowded. One night it took 20 minutes to drive from the hotel gate to the main reception. My room was old, water leaked in the bathroom which was constantly damp with unpleasant odor.

First time impression

I enjoyed my stay from the very first day! The hotel staff are very friendly, polite and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was a very pleasurable and comfortable one. The downside is that the that food served was very hot and spicy and therefore you have to becareful with food selection! I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family abroad who is looking for a safe place to stay away from home!

This place is all about money and lacking good service. Hotel garden is old and there’s a smell. What’s the hype about this place? I will never stay here again. For the amount you paid not even 1 free breakfast.

Pros: Great location. Great staff. Lots to do on the property. Plenty of food and drink options. Housekeeping was wonderful. Check in was very easy. Con: Hotel needs to be renovated. The upkeep of the property is not good. Leaking in bathroom. Old furniture. No ventilation. Broken shower. Stains on floor. Mold.

The hotel and its rooms are very, very old. Poorly. It’s like a ghetto brothel. Shameful indeed. Electronic doors don’t work, had to be opened manually. Safety deposit box doesn’t work. A risky experience. Bathroom shower cabby drain is clogged up. Waste water doesn’t drain out.

I stayed at Eko Gardens. It got the job done. One thing I didn’t like was that I wanted to check in 2 hours early, but they were going to charge half the room rate. The problem with that was that the room rate they would use was not the rate I booked the hotel. The “half price “ would be more that twice the full room rate amount I was paying for my reservation. Given that I had reserved multiple rooms for 10 days, it would have been nice for them to have used discretion. Overall, I was pleased with the service.
