Nice hotel.

I enjoyed my stay. Friendly atmosphere, very attentive & polite staff. Maintenance staff were also great - they came within 10 minutes both times & fixed the issues. Good food; the morning buffet was great. I plan to return.

Still have the friendly staff that I met last year however, the standard of the hotel has changed not sure if there’s new Management needs a lot of updating beds were very tough other people stayed with me in different rooms were not pleased with the clean of their room sheets, comforters, no towels no mats were not available. We waited approximately three hours still did not get all towels updated to each room. This booking had approximately three rooms in total Not satisfied does not meet the Marriott standards.

Protea needs the real Marriott touch!

Hotel needs fixing up. Facilities are outdated. Staff is helpful but at times dont seem to understand what they are asked to do. You have to make multiple calls in order to get things done. Quality and spread of breakfast was good. Noise level from outsiders coming into the hotel was overwhelming loud. It is a hotel not an office. Lobby during the day was constantly overflowing with people, couldnt tell who was a hotel guest from others.
