Beautiful property with multiple pools and gorgeous views. The staff was helpful and the room was well appointed with everything we needed. It was a nice plus to have Dukes on site and we enjoyed poolside access to food and beverage. We can't say enough about this property and will be back on our next Maui vacation. It exceeded our expectations in all areas!

We were extremely happy with an upgraded room when we arrived! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pools were great. They also provided laundry and dishwasher detergent!

We loved everything about our stay at the Honua Kai. The pools and hot tubs were all clean, and having four pools and multiple hot tubs meant it never felt too crowded. The beach access was amazing and offered great options for both swimming and snorkeling. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it if traveling with a group!

I stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful resort. My children loved the pool with the waterslide and the walking proximity to the beach. The rooms were spacious and loved having dinner in the balcony. The facility it self was clean. There are cats on the property and their areas are well maintained as well. There is a restaurant right on the property (Dukes) which was very delicious too. Just make sure to make reservations if you want a sunset dinner. My family and I will be returning to this beautiful property. We highly recommend it.

We traveled as a family for a trip to Maui. The property is a bit outdated, but still has everything that you need. The valet service and front desk staff were helpful and friendly. There is only one restaurant onsite, so other food options being nearby was very helpful. The rooms and property was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Know before you go which tower your in, this will help your check in process. It’s such a big beautiful property so knowing this helps a ton. Great property with a restaurant and shopping spot downstairs in both towers. Also be sure to check the stores nearby, lots of places within walking distance.

All around a great experience- everything was mostly as expected. Ran into that little technicality of an “ocean view room”. The ocean was there and you could view it from the lanai if you stood in the right spot and cranked your neck around. I saw more of the mountains and courtyard- still better than looking at a parking lot. Dukes was great for dinner- though on the last night we waited for two hours and they lost our reservation, claimed they sent a text that still has never arrived. Pizza joint down the street was pretty good, just not the experience we hoped for on our last night. That said, our room was clean and felt luxurious, the grounds are lovely, the pools were a ton of fun and the staff was friendly and helpful. Easy beach access, were you can catch a perfect view of the sunset and moonrise. 100 percent would stay here again- next time I’m booking oceanfront!
