“The camper room wreaked of a horrible smell and fume which within 20 mins caused my girlfriend to constantly cough and gag then within an hour or two both of us had headaches and needed ventilation and outdoor air. They tried to accommodate us with another camper but by then we both felt extremely nauseated and refused to stay. On top of that I was told I couldn’t get a refund. ”

“The menu was the same as last time I stayed, they didn’t have a few parts that the menu had. But it wasn’t bad, I didn’t use the pool, it was only for one night and we got there late and tired, last time we did use it. ”

“The location is ideal, directly across the street from the beach, restaurants, nightclubs, and bars. It can be noisy I didn’t experience soundproof rooms but the place is nice. There are two pools. Hot water was hot or miss. I would recommend this place if you need a nice, safe, affordable, clean room/bed in a great area of Cabarete.”

“Kibayo made me remember the times I use to stay in my grandparents country side in the Dominican Republic, Ramona was the best service and the young lady after Ramona I forgot her name . But Kibayo is a place to relax and if you want to experience the quitenes and nature and fun activities Kibayo is it. The owner tia I i believe was his name and macho were very nice too very heart warming.”

“It was our 2nd stay in 3 months. It was just as wonderful the 2nd time. We absolutely love staying here. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. It’s only a 10 min walk to the grocery store, a 1 km walk on the beach to all the fun little restaurants and beach bars on Cabarete Beach and about the same in the other direction to Kite Beach. ”

“Within the first 24hr of our stay, we experienced a number of issues which ultimately resulted in us leaving after one night (booked for 4 nights). - the day before checking in, we received a message stating that the property was trying to charge our card for the whole booking even though we had already booked and paid in full through Expedia. Luckily the bank rejected the payment and we resolved the issue with the property. -upon arrival, we noticed a lot of damage to the room. looks like...

“Room was very spacious with a separate kitchen/dining, living room and bedroom. The amenities are great too - an amazing gym, lap pool and a rooftop restaurant! Nice short walk to the beach. Perfect location for a surfing holiday and reasonably priced. ”

“My room was lovely, very clean, and comfortable. The room overlooked the pool - I was at the center of everything. The staff was so helpful and kind, from the driver (Luis) they connected us with to the wait staff, cook, bartenders, maintenance, and a welcoming reception. The food was absolutely lovely, fresh, and the taste was amazing! We celebrated my son's 11th birthday there. I can't wait to return. My one regret was that I had zero time to enjoy the yoga classes. But I will return soon.”
