"I hate leaving poor reviews. Smelled musty when we walked in. There was a lingering smell of cat pee. Went to grab a towel from the "clean" ones on the counter & see a yellow stain on it, smell it, it's animal urine. Potent animal urine. The staff cleaned the room while we went out & when we came back it smelled like cleaning supplies. Put my head on the pillow that night, wreaked of cat urine. There was 2 water temperatures, scolding hot or freezing cold. The hot only came after running the water for a while. There were no offers to reimburse and I didn't push for it. Maybe I should have. I didn't see the cat pee on the towels earlier and had my make up bag on it for a day, the smell definitely stuck & so I had to throw it away. The staff was nice, & the cleaning lady seemed to work hard, but there's only so much you can do with what you're given."

"Super cool building, not your standard boring hotel (which I love) and we loved the proximity to the Neptune theater. There was only one elevator working for staff and for guests. So when housekeeping needed to get to the different floors, it created quite the headache for guests who were trying to check out, or getting to/from their room during that time. We waited almost 40 minutes trying to get the elevator to our room. It wasn't made clear when we checked in that we would need a reservation for the restaurant on the rooftop, so heads up- you can't just go up there without a staff member sending you up. I think a lot of our troubles were caused by a singular elevator experience, if the property manager fixed that I would have rated it higher. Overall it was a pretty good experience "

"Room wasn’t properly cleaned and very loud. The door got opened by cleaning lady without knocking. I stayed 2 nights and told at the check in that we do not need cleaned "

"Very big hotel. The advantage is that it has a skybridge to the mall. I felt that despite being so big and more expensive it is a bit impersonal and prefer a Hyatt House where they don’t charge for water. The upgrade was not felt in the room nor in the add ons. Mentioning Argan Oil in the shampoo does not make it feel superior for soap. The “ awesome breakfast” is a normal buffet that upcharges every extra item ordered except the eggs. I paid 51 for buffet and a smoothie. My room was not cleaned when I asked for it in the am. I returned at 3 and it was not done. Good location. I never interacted with a staff member after the receptionist gave me the key. You don’t see staff. "

"Met my needs for the most part. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Clean room except the carpet was stained. Good water and pressure. Missing hand soap. Malfunctioning toilet. Decent complementary buffet breakfast. "
