"What a treat to stay at The Blanche! We were in Lake City to visit extended family- and we loved the Blanche. The rooms were lovely and clean, amenities are wonderful, and the history is incredible. Johnny Cash and Al Capone stayed at the Blanche in their heyday! Whether you are on the veranda overlooking the lake and spanish moss covered trees, or taking in the downtown city square, it is like being taken back in time when Lake City was in its prime. There are adorable restaurants within walking distance, a fabulous coffee shop and breweries. Parking is ample. And so close to downtown, and plenty of shops to peruse. We loved our stay and will definitely return- and for anyone looking for somewhere in Lake City that isn't a cookie cutter roadside hotel, the Blanche is your place!"

"There was no breakfast, but great place to spend night for traveling. Not to many food choices. The staff was great and hotel clean."

"Great room for a passing through trip, we just needed one night and it was clean enough for that it's an older motel but the bed was soft. Air conditioner worked fine, 2 smaller bath towels is always annoying, why do hotels not understand hair and body drying needs?!? We did have to call to get someone to come check us in as lobby was locked but he came quickly, the door frame to the bathroom was gross but people are gross and I'm sure the housekeeping was rushed as usual and would get that the next day."
