“The room was huge, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. those were the only positives of our stay. The property is outdated and desperately needs renovation. The walls were scratched, the baseboards were deteriorating, and there was a terrible smell throughout the hallways. Cleanliness was a serious concern. The property appeared poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned. There was visible evidence suggesting a mice infestation, particularly in the entrance hallway near the...

“Great stay, bit of music noise but was expected”

“great people, great service!!”

“It's not good for business people. Rooms are so small and no facilities other than rooms.”

“The main issue with the property was that the basement room smelled SO strongly of mildew and the stairs to get down there felt so steep and unsafe that one couple in our group ended up booking a hotel to accommodate themselves. This was truly more like a converted crawl space than a bedroom. In addition, the sofa bed in the living room was very uncomfortable, even for a sofa bed. “The Wavertree Hotel is a great place to stay. The hotel is owned by a lovely family, who are welcoming, hospitible, and friendly. This is an ideal place to stay if you are travelling solo.
