It was perfect for what we needed it for, a stop off to break up the journey south from North Scotland. We loved the original features of the hotel, it was full of character. A nice room, despite the age of this place. Friendly staff as always. But I forgot about the parking charge I had to pay, since the hotel had changed brand. So allow for that as it's not always clear on some booking sites. A pleasant stay, though.
