DO NOT STAY HERE!! SCARY AND EXTREMELY DIRTY!!! My parents and I arrived at 7:30 p.m., only to find the lobby door locked. I waited a long time before anyone even acknowledged me. I had reserved two rooms through Expedia, but the employee told me he only had one room available because I hadn’t paid in advance. Nowhere in the Expedia reservation did it state that not paying ahead of time meant I was only guaranteed one room. In fact, Expedia clearly offered the option to pay now or pay upon arrival. However, the room situation quickly became the least of our concerns. After seeing the condition of the room and walking past other rooms where it appeared people were living, my parents and I immediately agreed that there was absolutely no way we were staying there. The property was extremely dirty, unsettling, and did not feel safe at all. We were not comfortable staying there under any circumstances. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so bad that I felt compelled to speak up. I’m sharing this to help others avoid wasting their time, money, and energy on a place that left us feeling so uncomfortable. Please take this warning seriously and look elsewhere for accommodations.

This is in Lansing, MI. There was no one at the desk when we arrived, but there was a buzzer to press to alert the staff. The entry area was very small with a full glass petition to speak to the staff through. The lobby area was locked and not accessible. When the man finally found my reservation, I had offered him my reservation info and he declined, He then had me follow him outside to show me where the room was , opened the door for me to see a king bed instead of the 2 queens I had reserved and said there were no other rooms available. After we finally got the keys and went into the room, it was not good. The carpet wasn't swept and had many stains, the chair in the room was filthy and had cigarette burns on it, the 2 ceiling lights had only one working bulb each..there were 2 in each fixture...and they had no covers . The tops of the desk and dresser were sticky as was the tv controller, there were no hangers on the clothes rack. After returning from the event we were in town for we found the internet didn't work with the info provided and less than half the tv channels listed were not available. I did try to call the desk to check on the internet but got no answer. There were only 2 towels and the bathroom wasn't very clean. We were there for 2 nights and housekeeping never came to replace the used towels. The bed did have clean sheets, the heat/ACwas ok and there were no bugs. It looked like renovation was happening but not in our building. Will not stay there again.

For one they didn’t give me the right room it was nasty as all get out dirty dirty dirty! I was so upset but it was so late I had no choice I’m upset as hell wasted money to visit family n it looked very nice in the pics then got there and didn’t get my hot tub room and they wouldn’t change it

Horrible.

My stay at this motel was absolutely horrible. We didn’t even end up sleeping here. We walked in and immediately it smelled of cigarettes and dead animals. There were cigarette burns in the carpet and at least 3 on the bed. There was stains on the floor and walls. It was absolutely disgusting. We were in that room for less then 10 minutes but i was told i couldn’t get a refund. I payed about $80. I would like a refund asap. i should report a health code violation and have this motel shut down!

Run away from this place.

When we arrived at 1:30am, there were two African American (I'm taking a good guess) drug dealers or pimps standing by the front office. As I walked into the front office, a car with dark tinted window pulled up and those 2 men entered the car. The front desk was behind bulletproof glass. The rooms opened to the outside, so I would classify it as a motel, not a hotel. 2 doors down from our motel room, the motel room door was open and some unknown “transactions” were transpiring. There was a piece of feces in the toilet in our room. Some sort of lubricant spread on the nightstand. The room has definitely not been cleaned. Unmufflered cars driving in and out the parking lot on a consistent basis. At 4:30 AM, incredibly loud music playing. We literally barricaded the door with the desk before going to bed. We are grown men, but it was a very unsettling night and we could not wait to leave in the morning. THE WORST hotel/motel I have ever stayed.

Filthy! Smoked in non smoking rooms. Ashes on the carpet. Drugs being sold on property and prostitution also. Mold and dirt everywhere. Ceiling peeling. Afraid to go out at night. Front desk people involved with the drugs and prostitution. No balconies like stated in advertisements. Continental breakfast was toast or dry mini doughnuts if they had them out. No coffee when it was coffee hours. Lots more! Absolutely disgusted

Location was convenient for me. The room smelled like an ashtray despite the no smoking policy. Cob webs on the ceiling. The neighboring guest had a kid playing in the parking lot past 11pm making noise and they were playimg music audible thru the wall all night long. 2nd worst hotel experience I've ever had.

Door to room dod not latch all the way, even though I pulled on it and jiggled the handle before I left. When I returned, my door was adjar. Major safety issue. Bathroom soor was missing the latch. Curtains were threadbare. Cobwebs everywhere. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe.

It was ok for the price, but restrooms ad mold in the ceiling, and bed sheet had stains in it. Even though the rooms were marked as smoke free, had smoke smell.
