"We spent 5 nights in this hotel. Our overall experience is ok. But there are few things that can be improved. Our room is in building B ground floor. Our patio is facing a huge exhaust vent from building C. The central vent in our room made a big noise. We called the front desk at the 1st night about the noise. We were told that we were not the first one to complain and they can NOT turn it off or the room would be stuffy. They offered to provide us ear plugs to deal with the issue. During check-out, we brought this issue up and were told that they can turn the vent off if we told them earlier. We have different answers from different staff. The hot pool at the roof top is lovely. But it was a bit disappointing to find guests in the pool with street clothes instead of proper swimming suits."

"We loved staying here on our quick visit to Banff. The hotel itself was very pretty, and the room was very nice. We are a bit disappointed that the shower amenities were empty, so we had to use our own that we brought. We did notify the front desk. But otherwise it was a nice stay. The rooftop hot tub pools were a nice, relaxing part of our stay. Love that the parking was easy, as Banff parking can get difficult sometimes. Highly recommend."

"The room was a little strange being half a corner room, therefore triangular, but it was ok. The pillows were awful and so fat that we had to use towels to get to sleep. The bar and restaurant were good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The sauna and spa were lovely after a busy day. When we got back after 5.00pm our room had not been attended to, despite them being outside the room when we left the hotel. When we queried it, it was sorted quickly."

"Power out upon arrival, hot tub out of service, room not like pictures , Old furniture, not clean, like an old cabin not looked after including the outside of building, in general run down The most we paid on our whole trip for a stay and worst accommodation Only good thing was meal and serving staff was excellent"

"I can't rate this hotel highly enough. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the staff were friendly and very helpful and the restaurant food is outstanding. We took our Granddaughter who enjoyed the kids club and the pool. Would love to return again one day."

"This stay I would rate as bad based on the stay. Staff were wonderful so nothing wrong there. This property has 5 buildings, we stayed in building number 4, room numbers start with 4xxx. The reason for poor rating for stay is as follows: 1. The rooms do not have air conditioner. 2. The window can be opened 2ft x 2ft only for air intake. 3. They have a small table fan with 20inch diameter blade. 4. End of May with high humidity, we have to leave the room door open till midnight for the room to get cooler so we can go to sleep. 5. I felt I was staying in a tropical country with hand fan. 6. So If you book at this hotel if the room is at bldg-4, unless it is winter and snowing i would not stay in that bldg. 7. Room has 2 twin beds only so plan accordingly 8. There are no elevator/lift in that hotel for any of the bldg's, so plan accordingly 9. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom."

"I stayed for a couple of nights with my teenage son. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and generally comfortable. One issue we encountered was with the room keys, which were extremely sensitive. Even brief proximity to a mobile phone seemed to deactivate them, requiring reprogramming at the front desk. We had to return to have our keys reset two or three times during our stay. The staff were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, only one employee was working during the peak check-in period, which resulted in some delays. Despite being busy, she remained friendly, answered all of our questions, and provided helpful information about the property. While the rooms were attractive and comfortable, they are beginning to show their age and some signs of wear. A renovation or at least a more thorough deep cleaning (specifically in the bathrooms) would improve the overall experience. That said, this was not a major concern, as the beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The outdoor BBQs are a nice amenity and we enjoyed having access to it. However, none of the grill starters were functioning, so we had to rely on the small matchbook provided for the fireplace to get the BBQ started. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The property offers spacious accommodations and friendly service, but improvements to room maintenance, key card reliability, and staffing during busy periods would make for a much better guest experience."

"Cave hot tub was cool. The room was super expensive even for Banff and quite disappointing. Two double beds and pull out hide a bed. The room advertises sleeps 6 but with one bathroom and double beds no one’s getting a good sleep and everyone’s upset waiting for their turn in the bathroom"
