Our room was dirty when we checked in, specifically the bedding. We requested housekeeping 4 different times before someone finally came. The first time we called the housekeeping department, they just sent someone with sheets that they handed to us. Then through ivy, the ai chat, no one came after 3 hours. then we called housekeeping again, nothing, finally we went and stood in line at the front desk for 45 minutes and someone finally came after 1.5 hours. When talking to any staff on the phone they were unhelpful and it always ended with “I’ll let my supervisor know”. Staff in person were great.
We reserved a day bed by the pool but what they don’t tell you when you reserve and pay for that on the website is that there is a food and drink minimum you also have to meet. That would have been nice to know before.
We used ivy again to do late check out and that was confirmed via text and when we went to go get our keys reset they said they had no record of that.
When needing to speak to anyone at the front desk, expect to wait at least 20 minutes.
Just seems like the departments in the hotel don’t communicate with each other and there was just an overall lack of genuine care from anyone.
