“Kind and friendly staff, Clean room”

“Attention to little things such as placing a variety of chocolates/nougat/calissons each night on the bed and a bottle of wine to welcome guests. Food was excellent. Cocktails were lovely. Having indoor and outdoor pool was a bonus. The nearby town of Forcalquier was well worth visiting”

“I was double charged. Fortunately, they swiftly reimbursed the fare, but the €6.6 tax was not refunded. They said it’s not their responsibility, but I don’t understand why it’s impossible to cancel the payment itself at the hotel front. The hotel was just so-so. The room was big with 3 single beds and one double, and air-conditioning was good. However, hot water was unstable, and the drainage of the washstand was poor. The pool was to small(about 10 sq m2) and closed. ”

“Il s'agissait d'un séjour pour découvrir cette belle région de Provence. Nous sommes restés 2 semaines. L'appartement était bien spacieux, propre, cependant, le mobilier un peu dépassé et il n'y avait pas de clim dans les chambres et pourtant, les nuits étaient très chaudes, c'est dommage, ça serait peut-être judicieux de remettre la déco et le mobilier au gout du jour et la clim pour que les nuits soient plus confortable. La piscine extérieur aussi est petite, impossible de faire des longueurs,...

“조그만 리조트 같은 숙소이고요, 숙소 수영장이 작지만 가깝고 깨끗해서 좋았습니다. 전날 저녁에 늦게 체크인 해서 다음날 아침에 잠깐 수영장 이용했는데, 날도 좋고 이용도 편해서 매우 좋았어요. ”

“렌터카 이동이라 주차하기 좋았는데 좌회전후 바로라 처음에 잘 못찾았었습니다. 발랑솔가기위해 잠깐 묵었는데 동네분위기였어요 록시땅공장가깝고 발랑솔 가깝고 시설은 오래되었는데 프랑스에서 제일 넓은 욕실과 방이었습니다 잘 묵고 갑니다. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at La Bastide. Julian is an excellent host - very welcoming and interesting to chat to, speaking excellent English. The property is very charming, extremely peaceful and relaxing, and feels authentically Provençal. The breakfast was delicious, served in the atmospheric kitchen. Julian has done a brilliant job renovating this beautiful farmhouse. Highly recommended!”

“The city of Manosque isn't really worth a visit - I chose it thinking it was central to the lavender fields and close to the L'Occitane factory (I call it the Poughkeepsie of Provence...). I thought it would be a good idea to have a cheap hotel in the pedestrian section of town but what I hadn't taken into consideration is that the high cost of parking our rental car made this "budget" hotel more expensive than the Ibis on the outskirts of town. If I had it to do over I wouldn't stay at this...
