"Caroline is such a wonderful host! Very accommodating, incredibly helpful, offered many recommendations and ensured we did not miss out on any of the major attractions in town."
"Everything was perfect. The setting in the town was brilliant, warm & friendly welcoming staff and a very clean comfortable room. Couldn’t have asked for anything better"
"The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it truly felt like home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Saint-Émilion — a perfect stay in a beautiful location.

"Gorgeous property without a spa and the rooms can be a little convoluted to reach (ours required three elevators from reception). It’s hard to leave a terrible review because some people were excellent and some were rude and demeaning. The room had two towels in it total and there wasn’t enough hot water for both me and my husband to take 5-7 minute showers. At 1500/room this makes you feel like you’re in an overpriced tourist hotel riding off the town’s reputation with staff who are « over it » and all too willing to show you in their behavior. The restaurant La Table de Pavie had outstanding cuisine but two of the four servers openly rolled their eyes and mocked customers throughout dinner. Sort of leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you’re spending 1000 EURO on dinner. I wouldn’t come back. "
