The balcony view of Lake Dora was very pretty, and we had a good seafood dinner at Puddle Jumpers a half block down the pretty lakefront street from The Citrus. But our shower only had cold water, and we had no idea this is a loud, party until 2 a.m. area with either a live band, a DJ, or karaoke on the ground floor of each building or across the street.

This is a very nice property. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. There were some nice restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying there again.

Trip was amazing. Yes there is some age to the building, there might be a couple scuff marks, and the internet is a tad slow. But it has amazing views, clean beds, nice bathroom, plenty of space, and in a great area. A steal for the price. Will stay again.

Doors SLAM shut. Will wake you up for a deep sleep. My keys weren't good. Lock needs changed. Room was spacious and clean. Excellent location. Pool was nice. Parking leaves something to be desired. Overall, I was content with the hotel.

Great location and view overlooking the lake. With walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Has a lot of potential; a few upgrades would make it wonderful. We were not able to go to the rooftop area due to weather and heat. When there is any chance of storms, they close it. We were in building 3, which seemed to be the older building and in some need of upgrades. Having a coffee maker in the rooms would be great, since you have to go out of the building to get a morning coffee. A new breakfast/restaurant just opened in the main building and that was wonderful. Looking forward to going back, when everything is open.

The room was very musty smelling. There was only 2 towels and they were semi damp from too much moisture in the room. The shower tile on the floor felt very grimy. The room itself wasn’t very inviting. The only upside was the location. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and the lake. Hotel could use a refresh.

I did like the lake view. However we could not use the chairs because of mold.v the bathroom had ants and there were dirty cloths on the floor behind the door. The room was above a cigar bar and the room was spray with something that was worse than cigar smell. We got no sleep due to an allergic reaction to the tobacco fumes. It was so bad my partner actually had face swelling at 2 am. We were going by 7 am and felt better in 30 minutes.

Location was nice, we had a new ce view of the lake. Lots of restaurants nearby. The room it’s self needed love. We killed 5 spiders, mildew/mold was all over the ceiling in the guest bedroom A/C vents, the master bed doors were broken & would not close, 2 adults slept on the pull out couch and it was horrible (the springs were broken and bungeed together). We had to go to the front desk and ask for sheets and blankets for the pull out bed, once we got the sheets they were still damp from the wash. This place was okay for a night but I couldn’t do 2 nights. They really need to hire a good maintenance guy and better housekeeping.
