"It's right next to a very good night market beside the best university in Taiwan. The room was clean and comfortable. Staffs were friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back next time."
"My family and I throughly enjoyed our stayed here. We booked 3 rooms. This hotel was about a 10-min walk from the train station, surrounded by food with the popular Yonghe soya bean directly opposite the hotel. The rooms were clean and they provided snacks, water, toothbrush at the pantry, and even buns for breakfast! Love the toilet bowl because it was the automated one. Staff were helpful and friendly. Have to point out that this hotel is not wheelchair friendly nor pram-friendly as there was...
"This property uses very old, torn towels bedding, with holes and tears and cuts in them. Has no place to hang clothes oe towels in the bathroom. Very tight limited place. No shower curtain. "This was our first time in Taipei and we absolutely loved our stay at the Taipei Garden Hotel. It was a true 5-star experience with clean spacious rooms, great views of the city, and extremely friendly & helpful staff. Whenever we would get out of the taxi, the staff greeted us by opening the doors, helped us bring in all our luggages, were very playful and attentive to our child, and helped us with additional questions. It also helped that the hotel had an onsite currency exchange as well as a spa and multiple restaurant options, although there are really great dining options nearby in the Ximending area. What stood out to me most was their choice of shampoo and conditioner - they used L’Occitane which I absolutely adored. The only thing I could possibly fault on is that the shower tiles could be cleaned a bit better, but otherwise everything was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend. "
"The staff was professional and very helpful. As a foreigner visiting the country, I appreciated the employee's effort to support and accommodate. The facilities were clean and orderly. The hotel location was very convenient for transit and local shopping. There have been some reviews about crime in or around the hotel but I didnt experience any of that. I was able to walk around alone around midnight and didnt feel unsafe. Now, walking around at midnight may not have been a good idea but I didnt see or experience anything that made me feel uncomfortable. Lastly, my family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property and would stay there again. "
"I was very impressed by how clean, quiet & inviting the property is. The entrance is sort of tucked away in plain sight in a bustling area of Ximending with the lobby on the 6th floor. The Japanese vibe felt very authentic, and the staff were so professional, caring & helpful. My room was on the 21st floor and had a stunning view of the city. The bed was so comfortable, and the bathtub was a delight. Some areas of the property are showing some age, but you can tell it is thoroughly maintained. Highly recommend. "
"Great location across the street from Taipei Main Station. Fast check-in and check out. Enjoyed my stay and I will stay there again when i visit Taipei "
