"Regular visitor to this hotel, some rooms are better than others. The ones where the toilet is separate to shower are ok but not ideal as the toilet is like a broom cupboard. Great breakfast with plenty choice, parking and location is convenient."

"We recently stayed for three days in this recently refurbished hotel. We stayed in Room 210. We found the room spacious and in a very good position overlooking the main thoroughfare in the shopping and restaurant area. It was during an exceptional heatwave and the air conditioning was superb in our room and throughout the hotel.It is an elegant hotel and quiet. We would particularly like to mention the staff at breakfast, at the bar and reception. In particular whilst we were there I also needed to carry out some work but needed a larger table in my room. Through the excellent and diligent attention on reception by Nijo Bastin the table and chair arrived very promptly. In fact, within minutes of my request. Also I needed some printing done and this again was dealt with extremely efficiently by Nijo and Sharon. Whilst we did not dine at the hotel we did have the breakfast each day and it was excellent. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay made even more pleasant by the staff. Needless to say, the Hotel is very centrally placed and is an extremely short distance from the main railway station. It was only a few minutes to walk along straight and level pavements to arrive at the hotel. The only thing we did not like was the TV. The remote was very temperamental making it very hit and miss in turning on the channels."

"Air con was brilliant and well used in this hot weather. Staf,were friendly and professional. The room was clean and nice bed. Shower was great and parkong was good. Only downside was not much choice at breakfast but what selection they had was very good."

"Excellent night at this hotel with a warm welcome from Armit on arrival. The car park is under the hotel and quite tight to get in and out of. The room was a good size and had all the amenities. The dinner menu was quite limited but the food was nice. There is a good buffet breakfast too."

"Don't be put off by the exterior, the room was great!! Very clean, comfortable bed and had everything needed for a nights stay. The gentleman that treated us was really helpful in helping us find parking. I would definitely book again."
