"Overall the building was quite tired but the cleanliness of the areas and the rooms is can’t fault. Cleaners were great. Negative was my room looked onto train tracks and police car compound so couldn’t leave window open at night as too loud. Good position centrally in town although better to turn right out of hotel than left in evenings as local road to left wasn’t safest. "

But I used earplugs, just seemed to be a lot of activity in the apartment block also, the bed was a bit lumpy but nothing I couldn't sleep on and through. "We stayed for a few nights and found it was lovely and big campus. We weren't told where to have breakfast and we got lost trying to find it, then we didn't get told what we could eat in terms of our coupons and we didn't get to eat the following two days after paying for it. The room was standard but good enough for staying in for sleeping, the sink was leaking, the tap was cracked and we got soaked in the rain and the radiator didn't even turn on. "The room was very small. Every thing else was fine."

"The proximity of the property to downtown Dublin is unbeatable. Being located between the Guinness Storehouse and the Temple Bar made walking a breeze. The parking was extremely secure and I felt comfortable leaving my rental car. My only issue was exiting the locked car park early in the morning. I was given a number to call if I left before 10am to open the gate. They were helpful, but it still took ~20 minutes before I could get out of the car park. "

"The area was beautiful and the few staff we encountered were courteous. The bunkroom we stayed in had dirty blue pillowcases, fitted sheets, and duvets. This is a shared room hostel which is a great way to meet people from around the world. The wifi was so weak we had to either sit at reception or not have access. Just like any other hostel, you rent towels and strip your own beds of the white linens you place there prior to sleep. The building wasn't well maintained and there was no sound limit...

"This was a good choice for a 1 night stay. If staying several nights in Dublin, I would probably go elsewhere. The location was very good: a short walk to the Liffey River and touristy section of Dublin. The immediate Area of LIVStudent Dublin was less touristy and had some good pubs (Cobblestones has good live music, Walsh's Pub had great atmosphere, bartenders, and friendly locals) and restaurants (Lavanda, Wuff).
