"This hotel has very friendly and helpful staff and is in an amazing location. Our room had a view of Lake Como from the balcony and a view of the mountains from the window. The restaurant was also very good. My favorite dish was called "Taste of the Lake," which was a sample of different fish from Lake Como. They also had a great selection of local liqueurs (amari). The hotel is also located right next to the boat dock for the water taxi that takes you to different destinations around the lake, including Bellagio."

"What an incredible experience! I highly recommend staying here. The host/family are so sweet and went above and beyond to help us get to the hotel as well as helped us plan our travel back to Milan. The view is unbelievable with multiple areas to take photos. We loved the complementary breakfast and just relaxing in the garden. 15/10 stay and we will be back in the future! The only thing I recommend is figuring out your transportation to and from the hotel in advanced. It is very hard to use public transit to get here. I would recommend getting a taxi/uber from the como main station or even renting a car. Thank you for everything again!"

"I don’t normally leave such detailed reviews, but in this case, it’s definitely warranted. Where do I even begin? The Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como was absolutely incredible and, without question, one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy! We were travelling through Italy and booked only two nights at the Mandarin, but if we were planning the trip again, we would definitely stay at least one night longer. The hotel lived up to its name, which is synonymous with exceptional service, attention to detail, and over the top luxury. As breathtaking as the property is, though, what stood out most was the service and the way the staff made us feel throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Even more impressive, the staff members we met during check-in made a point of greeting us personally whenever they saw us again. Those small touches made a lasting impression and are exactly what separates great service from truly exceptional hospitality. Everything about our stay, from our room and the food to the floating pool and the spa, felt special. We were genuinely sad when it was time to leave and wished we had booked that extra night. The Mandarin delivered exactly the experience we had hoped for and somehow exceeded it. If you’re considering staying here, do it! It’s definitely a splurge, but for us, it was worth every penny. Next time we’re in Lake Como, we’ll absolutely be back, and staying longer! 5+++ stars!"
