โStayed at this hotel because of Lobsterfest and the 5k. The hotel room was newly renovated and clean. The pillows couldโve been a little bit more comfortable. Staff was really friendly. It was a very convenient location to go see lighthouses and walkable town.โ
โLoved the decor, heated floors, and the whole vibe. Definitely a great place for a family trip or a couple looking for a little getaway. Great location to easily get to Camden and Belfast. โ
โGreat property with access to the sea. Staff are incredibly friendly and there are lots of extras like tennis, pickleball, 2 pools, and a fitness room. โ
โI repeatedly read reviews saying folks wished they couldโve stayed longer and i wholeheartedly agree! Our little cabin was clean and charming and you get a little glimpse of the water over the meadow. The bathroom was a nice size and had lovely smelling Malin+Goetz toiletries. We loved reading on our little deck with our pup and listening to records. โ
โThis was one of our very best experiences on our 30 day road trip. The staff was impeccable and the grounds were absolutely stunning and beautiful. The pool was too cold to enjoy but nothing can be done about that. It is a beautiful infinity pool with a great view the hot tub was enjoyable even though the jets were not functioning as powerfully as normal, we still enjoyed it. The breakfast was really delicious. Many personal touches like complementary water and chocolates were appreciated.โ
โWe enjoyed our stay at Barncastle! Really changed our views of Bed and Breakfasts. Didn't realize that a place could be both quaint and gorgeous *and* have modernized amenities and be comfortable! We would love to come stay again. Lizzie was so kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay!โ
โWe loved our 3-night stay in the cottage! It was a little tight for our family of 4 but it was perfectly clean and decorated adorably. It had everything we needed to make a cooked breakfast each morning and a patio out front overlooking the water. The hot tub unfortunately didnโt seem to be working as the water wasnโt warm/hot at all, however, our boys enjoyed swimming in the pool. We drove into Acadia both days and it was about 1.5 hours drive. We would definitely stay again if we go that way...
