Excellent stay overnight before early Gatwick flight. Very quiet and peaceful. Very safe as solo traveller. No staff on property overnight but emergency contact number made available. Would definitely stay again.

the staff were amazing really hospitable anything we needed they helped with great attitude . adrian jack Daniels and all the staff were amazing lovely people I would give them 10 stars if I could.

The staff were really welcoming at the Wiremill. The room was very nicely furnished. A couple of points that let the it down; the rooms are quite warm and there was no fan but we could open a window however there was a lot of noise outside. No fridge in the room, appreciated the can of water but it was warm. The carpet was quite stained in the room we were in and there was a lot of noise during the night (mostly footsteps from other guests walking past our room and staff in the pub above).

The wire mill, a 15th Century Water Mill, is place to rest and relax by the waters edge, warm and cosy its not long before you drift off to the land of nod oh life can be a dream sweetheart!

Comfortable Stay

Perfect location for attending the London Temple nearby. Restaurant upstairs was lovely and the food was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. The room temperature could have been cooler, but we had no thermostat in the room so we opened the ground floor window.

Fabulous place. Rooms gorgeous, staff lovely, very welcoming. Pub lovely with a great view, loads of parking, shower great. Only a few rooms so no noise. We had an early flight from Gatwick which was 12 minutes to our long stay car park. Sorry - but have to say - bad form about food. Called up twice and the company have AI answering calls. Asked what time food ends - twice it said 10pm. Had been in work since 6am to get early dart, was absolutely starving. Food ended at 8. Everything else wonderful but sort that out. Either put food times on website or switch off your AI. Will be back at totally worth it for the price. *****

I was rather concerned what I would find after reading some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised at how good it was and will definitely stay again. The room was clean, well decorated and comfortable and more than sufficient for myself and my dog. Parking was close by and walks around the lake and across the fields available directly.

Convenient location but I won't be back.

The room was OK, with a comfortable bed and decent shower. The downside was a slight smell of damp in the room, inadequate slope on the shower floor so the water spread to the sink area, no view from the window. For a business stay, a 9am start for breakfast doesn't really work.

The Wiremill was the perfect location for us travelling from Gatwick on an early morning flight and the staff were welcoming after a long car journey. We had a long wait at the bar to get food and drinks. The food wasn’t great and the fish and chips were very greasy. In the room we stayed in, the rainfall shower didn’t work and it smelt of damp. Whilst there, we also found several silverfish bugs in the bedding. Hopefully these issues can be rectified for future stays.
