"My room was clean and comfortable. My bed was good and I slept well. I only had a fridge, the microwave was down the hall by vending. My only real complaint was that the breakfast was lame. I thought it would be a hot breakfast but that means you cook your own waffle or made toast. A big vat of pork sausage gravy was gross"
"We frequently choose older motels that cost less. We look closely at their photos, and if it looks updated and clean we choose it. Usually we find it is owned/managed by an immigrant family, frequently from the Subcontinent, and they do an excellent job with the older property. The Royal Inn in Hudson, Wis., is such a place. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked well on a hot day, parked right in front of our room. Convenient location."
"The hotel had a great pool, it was clean, breakfast was limited not much variety of food. Hotel is a bit outdated but under a lot of construction. But the worst part which was what got our attention to book this hotel was the shuttle. Drop offs and pick ups are very inconsistent. Communication is not clear on where you can get a shuttle to go anywhere. Staff was helpful very had to get a hold of them at the desk."
