"This was the ultimate little stay... We had the best time and we absolutely loved the breakfast. Our room was quiet and clean and almost ALL the staff were amazing... I will definitely return here but I will never return to the bar after the way we were treated, We had literally just checked in didn't even go to our room, went to the bar to see if they were still serving food, asked a simple question 'were they still serving food? ' not only did we wait 10 minutes to ask that question but when we asked that question, the old lady working... she was so rude that I almost went back to the front desk and checked out. she immediately turned us off from this property and I almost walked away from what was one of the best nights of my life because of her. People who work service need to understand that when you are working with travelers all day, we are tired too and we are hungry and all you had to do was say a 'sorry' with a 'no'... So in the future when I tell people about this place, I will tell them how wonderful it is but I will definitely suggest that they skip the bar because of my experience. We will definitely return, and soon but we know better than to go to the bar next time. It's worth it to drive 15 mi East to avoid her. Wonderful property for a getaway. "
