“Excellent location to enjoy the Cotswolds away from the tourist crowds. On the downside, the washroom is not perfect, but these are properly designed only in some large chain or high end luxury hotels. Highly recommended overall. ”

“The Masons Arms is a delightful country pub with rooms that is a charming example of Cotswold tradition and tastefully updated rooms. The pub itself serves very good and reasonably priced traditional pub food in a traditional and quaint setting. Service is friendly and efficient. The inclusive traditional Full English Breakfast was generous and spot on. We would certainly return. A special mention of Kate who was very helpful and friendly. ”
“Charming hotel, ideally situated by the Abbey. Choice of lounges to sit in the evening, loved the decor. It was drizzling so we couldn’t use the outdoor space.
Enjoyed a delicious evening meal in the restaurant and full English breakfast next morning. All staff so friendly and welcoming. Loved the stories of the local area involving pigs, emus and tigers!”

We had a very good meal, the landlord and chef being Michelin star trained.

“A lovely hotel situated in a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Superior room was excellent. A nice size with a double shower and bath. Bed was comfy. Hotel restaurant had a good choice and food was of a very good standard. Breakfast particularly set us up well for the day. Hotel staff were also welcoming and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.”
“Impressive building, super receptionist, who was extremely helpful. Had a super, very clean room overlooking the river and was a glorious Easter weekend. The room was large with a lovely big firm bed and nice pillows. TV, kettle, extra heaters and fan(if you needed them). Double glazed windows and super shower with plenty of lovely hot water. Nice to sit looking at the river in the late afternoon too. On the outskirt of the town so reasonably quiet but easily within walking distance of the town....
