Absolutely loved our time with Under Canvas. The staff were so helpful! Food was great. Our tent was comfortable and cozy. The only thing I would suggest is more power sources to charge the electricity (the lanterns were awesome and worked perfectly when charged). I would definitely recommend staying here and enjoying this experience!

This is our 2nd trip to one of the Under the canvas locations and it did not disappoint! Great staff, clean rooms, breath taking views and the food is always on point ! We can’t wait to visit the one in Washington next year!

What a unique experience! There is no air conditioning so be aware it can be hot in the summer. It did cool down comfortably overnight though. The common area has a restaurant, games, corn hole, and s'mores which was enjoyable. And amazing views! You can't park at your tent, they drive you back and forth in golf carts (or you can walk too). I'd stay there again... especially on a cooler early fall/late spring day!

I can't say enough amazing things about Under Canvas North Yellowstone! The staff is all helpful, kind, willing to go the extra mile with a smile on their face. They make your stay easy. The beauty of this property is out of this world. Surrounded by mountains with the best sunrise and sunset you've ever seen. The food is fresh and tasty! Everything and everyone was beyond my expectations! Our family will be back.

What an unforgettable end to our vacation in Yellowstone. The property was clean, so pleasant, full of things to do. The food on the property was delicious so we didn't feel regretful of not having the ability of options. The BIGGEST thing that made this property awesome was the staff. I didn't meet one person working there that wasn't a pleasure to speak to. So friendly and full of smiles. The most EPIC thing about this place was the night sky. It was SO beautiful. We just laid on the ground and watched the stars in the sky.

Everyone encountered was friendly. Some staff seemed more weathered and exhausted - expected when you realize they are working dusk til dawn and filling many roles. Loved skipping rocks at the river. Outdoor bathrooms in common area were a disgrace - filthy and not always stocked with paper goods. S'mores in eve is a nice touch, awkward to approach a fire pit to melt marshmallows when it is circled with families who treat you like an intrusion. Fire pits should be lit for early morning hours.

Under Canvas at North Yellowstone remains to be a unique experience for those looking for something different than the shoebox hotels, and additional comfort when camping in the outdoors. Although this camp is not currently DarkSky certified, it is still set in a satisfactory location where one could enjoy the nature, and does not need to venture out far for a culinary experience. For this, we recommend the venue. Nevertheless and as we often say, first impression is most important. The overall low rating given in this review was based on the very unprofessional welcome we received during check-in, from one of their junior staff (never experienced such unwelcome in our +30yrs of traveling worldwide), as well as the unprepared tent we were given (ie. additional blankets missing despite several reminders prior and during check-in, uncharged bed-side lantern, and missing hanging lantern in the bathroom). We asked to speak with the GM, who was understanding, patiently listened to our feedback and did his best to ensure the rest of our 2-nights stay was good. The GM is a seasoned professional in the hospitality field, and we are confident that he will drive and improve the service standard of his young team, to avoid the same mistake made by that junior staff. The rest of the team seemed competent and the overall camp was well maintained.

We were visiting Yellowstone and wanted something unique. This location was a little out from the park but no waiting in traffic to enter from the north to get into Yellowstone was worth it! All the staff were so welcoming, attentive and kind. We were leaving early at 430am and they offered to have coffee ready in the lobby for us before we left. (Was amazing) The cafe was spectacular, the food was delicious. (They were able to make us Vegan food) I did have to ask but they had Beyond burgers & bowls. 1. Tents were clean and modern 2. Right on the river 3. Super kind staff 4. Delicious food 5. The sky views were insane 6. They had an accessible room, a ramp with no stairs. Thank You Under Canvas Tents Team!

Our stay was amazing. The staff is very professional and welcoming. Our tent faced the Yellowstone river and mountains! Our view off the porch looked like a post card. Great food options for breakfast and dinner. Comfortable beds. Warm fireplace. It’s a must see in person !

We had the best two nights here. The kids loved hanging out by the camp fire and making smores. My husband and I loved sitting on the patio of our tent watching the Yellowstone River pass by. Such a great place. We will for sure visiting other locations!

Beautiful location with trails, and adventure abound. We loved the tents, the food, the service was great. We had many food options, and great drinks. In the evening they light the firepits and we made smores. Breakfast was great, and the service was attentive. They even had hiking poles for us to use as well as blankets for around the fires at night. We can't wait to go back and stay again!

Under Canvas was a very unique experience! My boys loved staying in a teepee, and my husband and I loved having a space to ourselves. The food was great! The staff was so helpful and they went above and beyond! We would definitely recommend staying if you are close to one. It was a truly amazing experience!
