“This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. “Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree. The cottage is peaceful and clean, with modern fixtures, a full kitchen and incredible views. Billy and Helen were very easy to communicate with and were very responsive.
