"This was the worst hotel experience I've ever encountered in my 63 years on earth. The desk clerk actually stopped checking us in to help a lady she knew instead, then said I needed patience. I told her "sorry, but I didn't have much left". She then said if I didn't then I'd have to leave. I'd already paid. At this point I said "look, just check us in and be done" to which she replied "get out of my hotel". I asked for a refund and she said "you're going to have a long wait". I asked her name, manager's name, contact info...she refused all. I told her I'd need something showing there's a refund. She refused. I asked her to call the manager, again refused. Then I told her to call the cops, I needed something official to show that I just didn't do a no-show. Finally contacted the manager the next day as well as corporate. The manager said he'd get back to me that day and corporate said 24-48 hours. That was 3 days ago.....crickets. Unfortunately this will be my last stay at IHG for me and my company. I can't subject anyone else to the potential of this happening again."
