Enjoyable stay in Ludington

Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Room 7 could use an end table at right side of bed. Had to lay phone & accessories on floor by side of bed to charge overnight. Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice to have yogurt in room fridge for morning snack.

Perfectly Retro

A quick get away to parts of michigan never explored from Minneapolis. I love that the blue spruce motel was seemingly stuck in time without unthoughtful “modernizations” that would ruin its vibe and appeal. I think that the owners are deliberate in making sure of just Tharp. From its retro signage, to the vintage chairs and knotty pine, it’s wonderful.
