"Are you even kidding me!? The reviews are false! the rooms are not as you see. They are mouldy, dirty and some are windowless, AC is totally broken and all the rooms smell like cigarette! it is so filthy and disgusting. Stay away if you can! The maintenance is unkept and no lifts. It is a disgrace to call this a room for paying customers. Makes a mockery of the buyer! wifi in the lobby only! Mouldy bathrooms, ceiling is peeling off, the fixtures and some showers don't work. Toilets don't flush!...

"This apartment is located on the West Bank within easy walking distance of the public ferry and water taxis which can take you to the East Bank. Mattar, the owner, was an excellent host and can arrange for your touring needs at very good prices. The apartment itself is clean and modern. It has a rooftop sitting area with a good view of the river and the surrounding area. It is on a quiet street, away from the city centre. Overall, an excellent experience. "Here on the West Bank you are truly surrounded by Egyptian culture and it's friendliness. At the Villa Bahri you immediately feel like you are part of a family. Ahmed was our personal tour guide to all the sites around Luxor for the whole week stay. He left nothing to chance from pick-up to drop off at the Airport. We are happy to have found this place. Thank you Ahmed. Hedy and Hans Irvine"
