Good hotel

We stayed with my family for 1 night in December. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is perfect, there is a metro station just beside the hotel. Also there is carpark area for 12 € per day. But hall was smelling cigarettes.

This would be a great hotel for someone visiting in fall, winter or early spring. However, in heat wave, better to stay somewhere else. They were reasonable enough to give us our money back for remainder of the stay. Night staff was good .

Excellent budget apartment. Only fault is the air-conditioning which seemed to be ineffective and room was very hot in mid August. Reception staff and hotel was otherwise excellent and parking in undergrad hotel garage was fantastic for small fee. Area around apartment appears to be being regenerated with lots of nice new apartments and a really convenient bakery cafe and supermarket across the road. Metro station a minute walk away too!

Nice but unbearable heat

The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Parking was secure and really helpful to be able to get the lift from car park to room. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working so the heat in the room was completely unbearable that we barely slept. For this reason I wouldn’t return but it’s a shame as other than that it was a nice place and as I said the staff were extremely lovely!

Needs air conditioning

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were much bigger than expected. The location was perfect; only four Metro stops from the main train station, the Metro was right outside the hotel, a very large excellent supermarket, Auchan, was only one minute away, a super bakery was only one minute away and the same for a bank. The downsides were the lack of cooking utensils in the room which meant preparing a meal was quite difficult and the lack of air conditioning meant being in the room was very uncomfortable - it was over 30 degrees outside and even hotter inside. I would be willing to pay more for air conditioning.

We enjoyed our stay. Kitchenette was nice to have, even if it lacked a lot of items. Cups too small. Bowls, plates random sizes. No sharp knives. Breakfast was OK but not good for vegans.

Bon emplacement à Lyon: accès rapide à tous les moyens de transport public Buffet déjeuner typique dans son genre avec un bon choix. Idem pour la chambre, c'est classique de ce type d'hôtel avec mini cuisinette fort utile. Personnel compétent et courtois. Une seule critique, sortir de la baignoire est un peu périlleux pour des personnes qui auraient des difficultés motrices. Au total un bon choix abordable pour notre séjour à Lyon.

Ca va pour une nuit parce que la chambre n'est pas très fonctionnelle pour deux pour manger. L'accès à la baignoire est difficile il faut être vraiment alerte physiquement car c'est haut et surtout la baignoire est très glissante. La literie, ça va. Dernier point de vigilance, l'isolation thermique. En bref, ayant fait des séjours dans plusieurs appart city, celui-ci m'a le moins séduite. Le personnel est, par contre charmant.
