"We arrived very tired after a long drive. The first room give to us wouldn’t accommodate my wife’s handicaps. We were given another room. Room 202 was unkempt but the bed was made. The toilet seat was broken. The breakfast food was terrible. I reported the broken toilet seat. We visited the Henry Ford Museum. When we came back, the room was non serviced. The toilet seat was still broken. We checked out of the Motel. They charged me $100 fee on my Visa card upon checking in. It has not been returned. "The rooms bathroom had paint peeling on the walls. The toilet was about 12 inches off the ground. We had to call the front desk for a hair dryer (promptly brought to our room). The ceiling above the bed had 2 brown spots smeared on it. A most disturbing incident happened in the evening once we settled in our room on the third floor with a privacy hanger on the outside of the door. Someone was knocking on our door (twice) so I got up and asked who was there while I was looking out the eyehole. A black male quickly headed down the hallway toward the elevator, and once I unlocked the door, that person was nowhere in sight. I called the front desk to let them know, and they said they would check it out. I never received a call back from the front desk. My wife and I could not sleep comfortably, as worry that this person would come back and try to enter our room. Consider installing cameras in the hallways."

"There are some issues with some of the curb-cuts for wheelchair accessiblilty at the various entrances, but aside from that, this is an excellent hotel. We will be back this coming weekend for our third stay at this hotel - the staff is awesome!"

"DO NOT STAY HERE. I REPEAT — DO NOT STAY HERE. This was genuinely one of the WORST hotel experiences my brother and I have ever had. The problems started immediately when we arrived at 2:50 PM, only 10 minutes before check-in time. There was NO receptionist anywhere in sight. Just another couple sitting there who looked frustrated and had apparently already been waiting a long time themselves. We figured since we were slightly early it wouldn’t be a huge issue, so we sat and waited patiently. By 3:20 PM there was STILL no receptionist. I finally asked the other couple if they had spoken to anyone, and they told us the receptionist said there were no rooms ready and she had gone to “get them ready.” At around 3:40 PM the receptionist finally came back out — except SHE STILL DID NOT HAVE ANY ROOMS AVAILABLE. Since my brother and I were in town for a concert, I asked if we could go grab food and come back later. She told us yes and said to come back after 4:20 PM. We even left our information with her so we could supposedly be prioritized for a room. We returned around 4:45 PM to a HUGE line of people waiting for rooms. At this point I was getting nervous, but figured we’d at least have a room because we had already spoken to her earlier and left our information. Nope. We finally got to the desk around 5:20 PM and SHE STILL DID NOT HAVE A ROOM FOR US. She even admitted she had one room available but “didn’t want to choose” between us and two girls who had JUST arrived no"
