"The cottage was absolutely lovely. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing. It was a bit too cool for the pool, but we did enjoy sitting around a lovely fire at night with a glass of wine! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and will be going back!"

"the room was disgusting, the furniture looked like it came from a yard sale or thrift store (chipped and dirty), the bathroom looked like it was shabbily fixed with really bad caulk and paint and the bath tub drain was covered in rust. I am usually fine to deal with most things, BUT this place should close and rehab before anyone get some disease. "Frequent traveler here. This is not a 4-star hotel. During my stay, housekeeping took my newly purchased mascara ($40+) and one of my organic face towels. I spoke with several people, but no one followed up and no compensation was offered. Disappointing experience."

"Everything was very clean and well maintained and the staff was very nice. The bed was a bit lacking - it was oddly short and the springs were very squeaky and also I think there was plastic on it. For a budget hotel not bad though! I do wish they provided conditioner and lotion vs just shampoo and bar soap. Also it smelled weird but not terrible just a strong cleaning smell maybe."

"This is a beautiful place in a great town. Greenport has much to recommend it. Excellent restaurants, interesting shopping, and congenial places to hang around, have a drink, a pastry or coffee. The seafood, from shellfish to the top of the maritime food chain is fresh and abundant, and generally reasonably priced. The hotel provides a generous and varied continental breakfast buffet for its guests, and the staff is serious about hospitality with a smile. We very frankly now think of of the Harbor Front Inn as "our place in Greenport." "
