“The host/owner Michael is a wonderful host. Other reviewers have complimented the breakfast he prepares...they did not exaggerate. The breakfasts are healthy, delicious, innovative, fresh...outstanding. Our room, #8, is large, clean, has its own private entrance, and a great new shower. This B&B is located in downtown Madison in a walkable area. The house is a large, charming building constructed in 1833. Excellent accomodations. ”

“Overall our stay was a positive experience. It definitely is pretty outdated and common areas could use some maintenance (like peeling wallpaper and stained ceiling tiles) but everything was very clean, and I have high standards for cleanliness. The pool was very clean as well. We used it twice during our stay. Its a heated pool but don't expect bath water warm. Its just not freezing.
